Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for more than ten years. She was part, and captain, of both the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team The Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). Aly Raisman took home three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics, in London. Additionally, she brought home a bronze medal on balance beam. In the end, she became the first American at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. She took gold in the team competition during the 2016 Olympics that made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. She also won silver medals for the individual all-around event as well as for the floor workout. In between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from competitive gymnastics for three years. Also, she has been an athlete on two world championship gold teams. The gymnastics lessons she began when she was two and her most favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly supports her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. Aly hopes to achieve the opportunity to have a career that is successful in fashion. The leotards she wears as a signature, socks and other items will be expanded to include other items in the future. Fierce, a new book she's working on, will be published later in the year.
